A dynamic opportunity exists within a Johannesburg, JSE listed company, for a Junior Trader.

Main Responsibilities but not limited to:

Report writing and analysis.

Compiling of weekly and monthly reports.

Compiling of presentations.

Updating and maintaining of statistical data.

Data comparisons.

Exploring new business opportunities.

Monitoring of day to day developments in the global market of business developments.

Business forecasting.

Devising of sales and trade strategies.

Develop and maintain customer relations.

The ideal candidate:

Must originate from the west coast of Africa, preferably from Sierra Leone or Senegal or DRC  etc
To be currently residing in Gauteng.
Must have commodity trading experience 
A college or university graduate.
Self- starter, with the ability to move fast and get things done.
Sound understanding of the African countries with the ability to build relationships with stake holders.
Trading knowledge is secondary.
A well, connected individual, who may be associated with or have a sound network of state officials/diplomats.
The ability to negotiate, make deals and secure trade deals.
The ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic business environment.
Entrepreneurial skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements:

Basic education and training. Grade 12.

2 years working experience in a corporate environment.

French speaking- Compulsory.

Trading experience essential 

Personal attributes:

Well groomed.

High tolerance to pressure.

The ability to multi task.
